Kansas City Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Stephen Green will provide “straight talk and direct answers” to questions from the community  during the first community conversation of this school year.

Called “On the Scene with Green,” the event will be held  from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Bluford branch of the Kansas City Public Library, 3050 Prospect Ave., Kansas City, Mo.

On the Scene with Green is designed to give parents and community members direct access to the superintendent and have their questions answered. During the Oct. 14 event, Green will talk about the direction and status of KCPS first and then follow up with a question and answer session.
