KANSAS CITY, Missouri — The Kansas City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in regards to a homicide in the Northeast.
According to the KCPD Media Unit, around 11 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, KCPD officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Maple Boulevard on a call for the sound of shots fired, which was later updated to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim lying near the rear of an apartment building in the middle of the block. The victim was determined to be deceased from an apparent gunshot injury. Police believe the victim is in his late teens.
