KCPD investigating death of two men found behind church in Northeast

Caution tape surrounds the entire parking lot at Sheffield Family Life Center this morning after two bodies were found behind the church. PHOTO/Elizabeth Orosco

Two bodies were found this morning behind Sheffield Family Life Center, which is located near the intersection of 9th and Winner Rd.

According to Kansas City Police, officers were called to the 5700 block of Winner Road at approximately 6 this morning.

Two adult males were found dead of apparent stab wounds.

There is no suspect information at this time and the deaths are being investigated as a homicide.
