On Thursday, September 27, KCPD conducted a homeless outreach project to assist in connecting homeless people with resources to assist them in breaking the cycle of poverty. Swope Health Services, Kansas City Public Library, Veterans Community Project, Artists Helping Homeless and the Salvation Army partnered with KCPD for the event.
