Our summer interns are excited to learn more about community journalism and the Northeast. Their hard work is generously funded through the Missouri Press Association. We’re pleased to introduce them to our community, and next up is Tatum Goetting. If you see her out and about, make sure to say hi!
Tatum is an incoming junior at the University of Kansas double majoring in political science and journalism with a minor in public policy. Tatum has written for KU’s University Daily Kansan as an arts and culture reporter, news reporter and as a correspondent for the online arts magazine CHALK.
Tatum attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee, Kan., and graduated in 2019. She is interested in becoming a political reporter after college and is passionate about covering public policy. Above all, though, she enjoys the art of storytelling. Aside from journalism, she loves thrifting, hiking, art, music and film.
