“I am sure there will be items to suit everyone’s taste,” said Jamila Pree, who helped organize the Pendleton Heights neighborhood annual yard sale.

The yard sale will be held from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, June 8, and yard sale goers can pick up maps, as well as scope out the bake sale, at the corner of Independence and Park Avenues. To date, nearly 20 households are participating and Pree expects more the day of the yard sale.

“Since we have such a unique and eclectic mix of residents, including many artists, yard sale enthusiasts should plan to attend just because of the variety of items that will be available,” she said. “Pendleton Heights has been adding new residents at a good pace, so there are fresh treasures to be found each year.”

Items up for grabs will include antiques, electronics, books, household items, clothing and more.
