One woman is dead following a shooting on the sidewalk outside Super Flea in Indian Mound.
Tuesday morning, at around 12:30 a.m., Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) officers were dispatched to the 6200 block of St. John on the call of a shooting.
Upon arrival officers found an adult female on the sidewalk who had been shot. EMS responded and pronounced the woman deceased. There is no suspect information at this time and police are asking for the public’s help. The victim has not been identified by police.
Detectives and crime scene personnel responded to the scene and actively canvassed for witnesses, processing the scene for evidence.
