Dorri Partain
Northeast News
The Northeast Library teamed up with KC Pet Project for last Sunday’s Holiday Puppy Party. Participants created organic dog treats, and learned how to make braided toys and fringed blankets.
Therapy dogs stopped by to listen to stories, and humans enjoyed cookies and cocoa while they created items to take home for their own pets or donate to the shelter. If you missed this year’s party, organizers said they will definitely plan to make this an annual event.
