Gregory John Garcia, age 71, passed on February 18, 2021. Greg was born to Antoine Roy Garcia and Doris Lewis on April 2, 1949, in Oakland, Ca. He was an excellent cook and worked at several area restaurants, including the Savoy Grill. He also loved woodworking and built furniture for family and friends. Greg is survived by brothers Jeffery Garcia of Mendocino, Ca., and Mark Red Eagle (Angie) of Atascadero, Ca. He leaves two sons, Joel G. Garcia (Andrea) of Baltimore, Md., and his mother Janice Snyder, and Andrew P. Garcia of Columbia, Mo., and his mother Dorrina Alexander-Partain. Greg had requested cremation, with his remains returned to California. A memorial dedication will take place at St. John’s Anglican Church of Kansas City, Mo., at a later date.
