In recognition of American Diabetes Month, free health screenings will be available at Spalitto’s Pharmacy in Northeast on Thursday, Nov. 14.
The Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCUMB) Center for Community and Clinical Research will offer the health screenings and diabetes risk assessment, free of charge. Health screenings will include: height and weight, blood pressure and pulse, glucose check, diabetes risk management and information about managing diabetes.
Spalitto’s Pharmacy is located at 3801 Independence Ave., Kansas City, Mo., and health screenings will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
