The Feast of Corpus Christi procession with all of the pagentry and celebration that goes with it made it’s way along St. John Avenue from Holy Cross Parish to St. Anthony Parish on Sunday afternoon as the Father canted and the crowd of roughly 200 people followed and sang along.

The festival dates back to the mid 1500’s and traditionally takes place on the second Thursday after Pentecost. It is a commemoration of Christ’s last supper with his apostles prior to his crucifixion.
