Area residents took advantage of the Kansas City Museum’s First Sunday Family Fun Day March 4.
Attendees learned about the early settlement of the Town of Kansas, now known as Kansas City, as well as the town’s first newspaper, the “Kansas City Ledger.”
Other activities included learning how people communicated through Morse code, experimenting with different types of printmaking and listening to stories about life in the 1850s in the Town of Kansas.
