SATURDAY, APRIL 29- Kessler Park City Nature Challenge Event at 10 AM Gate 4 (East Gate) of Kessler Park. The City Nature Challenge is a world-wide collaborative bio-blitz event that offers people the opportunity to connect with the outdoors and contribute to the scientific community in a meaningful way!

SUNDAY, APRIL 30- Join in the creativity at StoneLion Puppet Theater, 2400 E. Truman Rd., and create a mask, costume or puppet. Free, from 1 to 4 pm.

TUESDAY, MAY 2 – Remake Learning Days: Learn 2 Aim. Free archery activity from 4 to 6 pm. at Budd Park’s Futsal court. Free books available from the Kansas City Public Library, painting activity, and catapult building. Free, sponsored by Kansas City Parks & Recreation and the library.

SATURDAY, MAY 6- Elmwood Bike Rodeo, Elmwood Cemetery, 4900 Truman Road, 11a.m.-3p.m.Free community outreach event designed to connect kids with bicycling. Bicycle maintenance tips, helmet fittings, safe riding clinics and more. Visit elmwoodbikerodeo.org for more information.

SATURDAY, MAY 20 – Multicultural Festival returns to Frontier Schools 1575 Universal Ave, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Admission is free, food tickets are $15 per person, Kids under age 4 eat for free.
