Wednesday, April 19 – from 6 – 7:30 p.m. for a virtual session. Session link will be provided 48 hours in advance. KCPS Sub-District 3 remains open and will require a write-in campaign. The special election will occur on June 20, 2023.
THIS WEEK – Spring curbside leaf & brush collection on your regular trash day. Place no more than 20 sacks and bundles, weighing less than 40 lbs each, on the curb by 7 a.m. Use only paper bags and twine or jute rope. More info at kcmo.gov/leafandbrush.
Thursday, April 13 – Free resources for residents provided by the KesherMobile from 4 to 6 p.m. at the North-East Branch Library, 6000 Wilson Road. Fresh, nutritious produce, grocery store gift card raffle and other service providers will be on hand. Sponsored by JFSKC and the Kansas City Public Library.
Friday, April 14 – Fountain Day! Look for area fountains to return to their seasonal splendor.
Saturday, April 15 – Dumpsters for trash, leaves & brush, and used tires will be available at Budd Park, Concourse Park, Sheffield and Lykins Square from 8 am to noon (or when full).
Tuesday, April 18 – TAX DAY! File your taxes by this day or face penalties.
