June 15 & 17: The Kansas City Library is hosting Pop-In at the Park every Thursday at Budd Park and every Tuesday at Concourse Park to offer no-contact assistance to sign children and families up for the Summer Reading Program, log any books read throughout the summer, and redeem prizes from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Children and teens can also collect a Take-and-Make kit with supplies for the Summer Reading Program’s virtual activities.

June 21: A quartet from Northeast Community Center’s Harmony Project will perform a Concert on the Concourse at 200 Benton Blvd. from 7 to 7:45 p.m. Please bring lawn chairs and socially distance. This free event celebrates International Make Music Day.
July 7: Partnered with Jackson County Health Department, St. Ann’s Catholic Church (10109 E. Lexington Ave., Independence) will be hosting a COVID Vaccination Clinic from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
