If your dog or cat needs its rabies vaccination, the City of Kansas City, Mo., is encouraging residents to take advantage of its free rabies vaccination clinic on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
The rabies vaccinations will be available from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the National Night Out Against Crime at Swope Park.
In addition, pet owners who participate in the free rabies vaccination can take advantage of the city’s reduced pet license fee of $10.
Dogs and cats must be on a leash or in a carrier to participate.
To offer the free vaccinations, the city’s Animal Health and Public Safety Division and Spay & Neuter Kansas City partnered together.
