To inform the public of Kansas City’s proposed budget, the mayor and city council will be hosting a series of public hearings to discuss next year’s budget.
Interim Kansas City Manager Troy Schulte delivered the proposed budget to the mayor’s office last month.
The first public hearing is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 12.
Listed below are the schedule of public hearings:
• DISTRICT 1:
Saturday, Feb. 26: 10 a.m. to noon
at Shoal Creek Police Academy,
6885 N.E. Pleasant Valley Rd.
• DISTRICT 2:
Thursday, Feb. 24: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
at Plaza Middle School Media Center,
6501 N.W. 72nd St.
• DISTRICT 3:
Saturday, Feb. 12: 10 a.m. to noon
at Gregg/Klice Community Center,
1600 John “Buck” O’Neil Way
• DISTRICT 4:
Saturday, Feb. 19: 10 a.m. to noon
at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church,
11 E. 40th St.
• DISTRICT 5:
Saturday, Feb. 12: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
at Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center,

• DISTRICT 6:
