UPDATE: The names of the three victims in yesterday’s case of carbon monoxide poisoning in the 6800 block of E. 12th Terr are: Santos Ortiz-Acosta, 34, Alex Sosa Silvia, 42, and Elvin Romero, 14. According to family, all three were Honduran Nationals.

This morning just before 7:30, Kansas City Missouri EMS Crews were called to a home in the 6600 block of East 12th Terrace. 
A co-worker of one of the residents of the home called because that person did not show up for work and they were concerned.
EMS Crews gained entry to the home and discovered that a generator had been running through the course of the night and the home was filled with carbon monoxide fumes.
Three people were discovered inside the home, two adult males and a juvenile male. Foul play is not suspected in this case.

According to KCPD Captain Corey Carlisle, the Fire Department will be handling the investigation moving forward. The identities of the victims has not veen released pending notification of relatives.
