This Book of the Week recommendation was chosen by Phyllis Hernandez, Senior Library Technical Assistant at the North-East Branch of the Kansas City Public Library.

Phyllis chose “The Women’s Small Business Start-Up Kit” By Peri Pakroo for financial literacy month.

“This book is an excellent read for any woman wanting to achieve her dream of starting her own business,” Phyllis said. “It teaches women who have an idea or skill, the legal steps to start or maintain work-life balance. It also gives the reader insight from successful small business owners.”
