This week’s book recommendation comes from the North-East Branch’s newest team member, Library Assistant Batula Hussein. She is a graduate from East High School and volunteered for the North-East Branch Library for several years.

Batula chose “But Where Do I Put the Couch?” by Melissa Michaels and KariAnne Wood for our series on Creative Beginnings.

“Home decorating questions answered by experts at your fingertips,” Batula said. “These experts answer any question that you might have about decorating a space in your home. It is provided to you in a way that is easy to understand and won’t max out your cards. I chose this book because I have always loved creating spaces that I feel comfortable in and this provides just that.”

“But Where Do I Put the Couch?” is available as a physical copy through the Kansas City Public Library.
