Thursday afternoon at approximately 2:30pm, Kansas City MO Police Officers were dispatched to the 7-11 store at 1701 Independence Blvd on a reported shooting call.

Upon arrival officers located a victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where they were listed in critical but stable condition.

Detectives and Crime Scene Personnel responded to the scene and processed the scene to recover any evidence and spoke to potential witnesses.
