KC Museum Hard Hat Tour
Take a hard hat tour of Corinthian Hall, the 100+ year old home of lumber baron Robert A. Long and his family. Visitors will see Corinthian Hall in mid-renovation, the bare interior of the building exposed for the first time in decades. Visitors will also tour the exhibit inside Corinthian Hall: Planning for the Future: Find History at Kansas City Museum. Admission is free and this week’s tours will be held Wednesday through Friday at 2 p.m. at the museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd.

Kansas City Zoo: The Magical World of Animals
Join North-East Public Library for at 10:30 a.m. for a presentation on the wild world of animals and all their wonderful fun facts. The library will take children on a magical journey around the world discovering animals and their homes.
Rummage Sale
Join the VFW Auxiliary Post 9997, 6801 Wilson Road, for a rummage sale. The sale takes place today and tomorrow, Saturday June 21, beginning at 9 a.m. both days and closing at 5 p.m. today and 3 p.m. tomorrow.

Sign up for a free e-mail account and follow along with this tutorial that teaches the ins and outs of sending and receiving email, as well as how to organize your messages. Class begins at 10:30 a.m. at the North-East Public Library, 6000 Wilson Rd.
Pendleton Heights Neighborhood Yard Sale
Visit the tent located at Lexington and Brooklyn Avenues between 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. for a map of area yard sales in the Pendleton Heights Neighborhood going on throughout the day.
Busker Festival
From 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., head over to the City Market to celebrate the art of busking at the Busker Festival! You might ask yourself: what is a busker? A busker is a street performer who practices their craft in public places, for gratuities. The City Market has long been an incubator for unique entertainers.
The Busker Festival will showcase musicians, unicycling, juggling, fire twirling, aerial arts, stilt walkers, musicians, dancers, comedy, circus acts, balloon twisting, magicians and more. The City Market’s motto is “where the locals go,” and in keeping with that tradition, all performers are local to the area.
Concert at the Colonnade
A free concert from 7 – 9 p.m. on the Colonnade, across from Concourse Park at Gladstone Blvd and St. John. The event is hosted by the Northeast Arts of Kansas City.

Kansas City Digital Media Lab
The KCDML is open to youth ages 13-18 every Tuesday from 3:30 – 7 p.m. at the Kansas City Library. It’s a safe space for youth who are interested in, or want to learn more about storytelling and/or coding. You’ll have access to equipment and adult collaborators to learn, create, and grow. All of the adult collaborators have had background checks and are simply available to help youth take their expertise and interest to the next level.
