Kansas City’s WWI Museum and Memorial announced today it will remain closed until further notice. Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas has extended the citywide stay at home order to remain in effect until Friday, May 15.

“Closure remains the best course of action in conjunction with the City’s announcement,” said Dr. Matthew Naylor, National WWI Museum and Memorial President and CEO. “While the physical element of the Museum is closed, we remain committed to serving the global community. We are ‘open’ in the digital space and welcome the public to access our free online content such as virtual tours, lesson plans for K-12 students, online exhibitions, online events, hundreds of presentations from world-renowned experts and much more.”
