Nov. 3, 2010

The craziest weekend of the year for Northeast is once again complete. There was so much going on we couldn’t even get to it all. This issue and www.northeastnews.net are packed full of photos from Scarecrows in Scarritt, the Graveyard Run in Elmwood Cemetery and Scare-It trick-or-treating. Also be sure to check out the video of the trick-or-treating bash on our website.

We hear fun was also found at Sheffield Family Life Center, which hosted a fall festival Sunday at the church, as well as at the former St. Stephen’s Academy gymnasium, where Catholic families in the area gathered for a Halloween party Friday night.

We hope a fun, safe time was had by all. It’s a good time of year to be a Nor’easter!

By the time this newspaper reaches most readers’ doorsteps, the election will be over. Due to our printing schedule, the Northeast News is unable to report the results here, but read all about the races that impact Historic Northeast Kansas City on our site.
