Tina Alline Bays (Derse), 46, of Everett, Wash., died Feb. 14, 2010, after a courageous battle with colon and liver cancer.

She was born in Kansas City, Mo., on July 3, 1963. Tina was a 1981 graduate of Northeast High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Edith Derse, and sister, Deanna Derse. She is survived by her husband, Robert Bays; daughter, Kara Kepple; son, Brandon Bays; sisters, Jacqueline Byrd, Karen Derse-Blatt and Leona Walton; a nephew; and numerous nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, in- laws, and other relatives. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way N.E., Seattle, Wash., 98155.
