A safe resolution to an earlier story about a child running up the middle of St. John. The child’s residence was located by KCPD on N. Bellaire and he was returned safely there. A 15 year old relative was supposed to be watching the child but was unaware he had opened the door and left.

The child’s mother responded to the residence and officers counseled her on proper child care and gave her information on Caretrak, a bracelet worn by autistic people to track them geographically. Officers also will be Hotlining the residence for follow up by DFS. According to responding officers this was the second or third time responding to the residence for largely the same reason which is why they knew where to go to locate where the child lived.
