Architectural Precast Ornaments, a small business, cast stone and plaster products manufacturer, received a $230,000 Missouri Linked Deposit Program loan, which was announced July 22.

Adams Dairy Bank partnered with the state to make this loan possible.

“Small businesses like Architectural Precast Ornaments are very important to our bank and bring economic diversity to our region,” said Adams Dairy Bank Assistant Vice President Duston Weisenborn.

State Treasurer Clint Zweifel visited Northeast’s Architectural Precast Ornaments to announce the loan and received a tour from Nick Shahiri, Architectural Precast Ornaments architect.

The loan was used to purchase the new headquarters at 4601 East 12th St.

Architectural Precast Ornaments works with customers all over the country providing cast stone and plaster products. These products have been part of Missouri since 1993.

This new Missouri location will give the company easy access to the river, reduce overhead and place it in a growing metropolitan area.

Recently, Architectural Precast Ornaments was broken into and much of the equipment and software was stolen.

“We never give up,” Shahiri said. “We think a lot of Adams Dairy Bank to help a lot of services overlooked.”

With this loan and new headquarters, Architectural Precast Ornaments will be able to reach its goal to provide at least 15 jobs in Missouri, said Mat Orangkhedive, manager at Architectural Precast Ornaments.

“We hope to eventually provide up to 30 or 40 jobs,” Orangkhedive said. “We truly appreciate the loan giving us opportunity.”

Zweifel commended the Adam Dairy Bank for its assistance.

“Adams Dairy Bank has gone above and beyond,” Zweifel said. “It’s a great partnership and we’re excited to be a part of it.”

Architectural Precast Ornaments is hoping to continue expanding. They currently are providing five new jobs in Missouri and expect 15 more in the next year.

“This is a big victory for our state jobs,” said Zweifel.
