Kansas City Fire Department (KCFD) responded to a reported house fire in the 3400 block of Anderson at 1:06 pm, on Monday, June 29. On arrival, crews reported heavy smoke and fire from three single-story houses. Offensive operations were initiated using multiple handlines. The fire was upgraded to a 3-alarm fire, with over 20 units responding. No injuries have been reported at this time. The fire is currently under control and contained. Searches of the structure were conducted and came back all clear. Companies remain on site working on hot spots. The cause of the fire is under investigation by KCFD. Dangerous buildings and City Planning have been requested to review the affected structures.
