Friday, May 5 – Lincoln College Prep Senior Showcase art exhibit at the EGG Gallery, 2659 Independence Avenue. Student artists will exhibit works created throughout the school year from 6 to 9 pm. Free. Art will be on display during Northeast News’ regular office hours through May 12.

Saturday, May 6 – Kansas City Museum hosts its annual Derby Party 2023 fundraiser on the museum’s historic lawns from 3-7 p.m. Tickets required.

Saturday, May 20 – Multicultural Festival returns to Frontier Schools 1575 Universal Ave, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Admission is free, food tickets are $15 per person, Kids under age 4 eat for free.
