SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15 – Join the Northeast Kansas City Historical Society for its 9th Annual Fall Homes tour in the Scarritt Renaissance Neighborhood. Tour six gorgeous homes and an amazing church. Tickets are available in advance at nekchs.net. The hospitality canopy will open at 9AM and homes open at 10AM.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15 – Art Garden KC returns to Northeast and will be featured at the Historic Homes Tour with dozens of local artists and vendors.


SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15 – Lily Floral Designs welcomes you to a Grand Opening Celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shop in the new retail department, buy seasonal flowers and see the new studio! Located between Café Cà Phê. and Swoon in Columbus Park (922 E. 5th).

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16 – PH Orchard Fest at 11 am, Lexington Ave & Montgall Ave. Food, fun, raffles and puppets! The Stone Lion Puppet Theater will perform its show Down the Drain at noon. Pumpkin patch, amazing raffle prizes, crafts, and a costume swap just in time for Halloween. Bring your gently used costumes for the swap.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18 – Join the KC Parks Department along with city officials and neighborhood leaders at 10:30 am when the ribbon is cut at Independence Plaza Park at Independence and Brooklyn in the North side of the park.


SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22 – Join the Cliff Hanger 5K, 10K, Walk & Kids Fun Run! All runners will receive a Cliff Hanger shirt, finisher medal, custom bib, free photos, and cinnamon rolls after the race! SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22 – Indian Mound Pumpkin Patch, 1-4 pm
at Indian Mound Park, Gladstone and Belmont Boulevards. Fun for the entire family. Free, pumpkin carving, games and more.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29 – Dia De Los Muertos at 9th & Van Brunt. 3-8 pm

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29 & 30 – Urban Hikes Kansas City will host a Hilly Historic Northeast hike on October 29 and 30 at 9 a.m. Fall is finally here! Book at www.urbanhikeskc.com.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 31 – Scare-It Safe Halloween event. 5:30-8:30pm, 3218 Gladstone Blvd. hosted by the Scarritt Renaissance Neighborhood Association. Free, safe halloween event that spans the 3200-3900 blocks of Gladstone Blvd along with the Kansas City Museum. For more information visit www.scareitkc.com.
