Friday, March 4: Lenten “Meal Deal” To Go, St. Anthony’s Catholic Church inside St. Joseph Hall at 3208 Lexington Avenue from 5 to 7 pm. Baked cod filet sandwich w/cheese, bag of chips, dessert and a bottle of water. $10

Friday, March 4: Lenten Fish Dinner at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 10113 E. Lexington, Indep. Served from 4:30 to 7:00 pm. Dinners from $12.00 to $14.50 include choices of boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, catfish filets, baked battered cod filets, French fries, boiled potatoes, coleslaw, hush puppies and cornbread. Ice tea, coffee, lemonade or water included with dinner. Beer and wine will be available. Fish sandwich with fries is $5.00; macaroni and cheese is $3.50. Ala carte items may be purchased separately. Saturday, March 5: Kansas City Museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd., presents Nuestro Legado (Our Legacy). Author and award-winning playwright, Olivia Hill, will share personal stories from her memoir, “Travel North Black Girl.” Program begins at 10:30 am in the JE Dunn Construction Theater. Free.
