AUGUST 24: The NEKC Chamber of Commerce is hosting an info session on the City’s Comprehensive Plan. At this month’s luncheon, the City Planning and Development Department will share updates on the plan that sets priorities and guides land development decisions. Start at Zero (SAZ) welcomes Kansas City families and friends to come celebrate a milestone of 5 years as a local non-profit organization on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Swope Park Bandstand Pavilion located by Southeast Community Center, at East Meyer Blvd. and Swope Parkway.


AUGUST 27:
Festhaus Musikanten will bring the music of Germany to Friday in the Park at North Kansas City’s Festival Pavilion in Macken Park from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. AUGUST 28:
Join us at Elmwood Cemetery for Volunteer Saturdays the fourth Saturday of every month (April through October) from 9 a.m. to noon. Spend the morning outdoors in a park-like setting, working on clean-up and maintenance projects throughout the beautiful cemetery. 4900 E. Truman Rd.
