Friday, June 20- Summer Dusk Concert, 7 to 9 p.m., The Colonnade at The Concourse. Enjoy country-western standards by Cody Wyoming and the Rhinestoners. Bring your chairs, blankets and picnic baskets. Free concert sponsored by Northeast Arts KC, visit northeastartskc.org for more information about the concert series.

Saturday, June 21- SHRED-IT Drive-Thru Event, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 2657 Independence Ave. (Look for signs on Sixth Street to enter.) Free shredding of documents, drive through and drop off. Sponsored by Central Bank of Kansas City and the Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.

Saturday, June 21- Western Family Days, 12 to 4 p.m., Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center, 3700 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Western-themed family activities including a rope-twirling contest and horseback rides.
