Tuesday, Sept. 30- Jackson County Special Election. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 1- Teen Study Lounge, 4:30 to 6 p.m., North-East Branch Library, 6000 Wilson Ave. Looking for a study space? The North-East library has computers for research and a spacious studio to study or create. Available every Wednesday afternoon for ages 12 to 18.

Saturday, Oct. 4- Neighborhood Clean Up, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Various dumpster locations throughout the neighborhood including tire disposal. Make plans now to clean your basement, garage or alley way. Look for specific dumpster locations in future issues of The Northeast News.
