Update on Incident at Independence Ave and Bennington

Some local sites reported a deceased individual on Independence Avenue yesterday, so we wanted to provide details regarding this subject.

Yesterday afternoon, Saturday, May 30, at approximately 2:30 PM, emergency personnel responded to a medical emergency at Independence Avenue and Bennington Avenue. A community member attempted life-saving measures (CPR) on an adult male victim until emergency services arrived on the scene. Tragically, the individual was pronounced deceased at 3:03 PM. According to initial reports, there were no obvious signs of foul play.
