To help students prepare for the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) test, James Elementary and several other Kansas City Public Schools hosted a Spring Break Academy March 12-16.
Approximately 85 students voluntarily attended the Spring Break Academy at James and received extra help on subjects covered on the MAP tests. On the last day, students were rewarded with a trip to the movies to see “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax.” Look for a complete story in next week’s edition of Northeast News.
