Downed tree-1

According to the Weather Channel’s website, the 64123 zip code clocked wind speeds of 24 mph and wind gusts up to 36 mph, along with 0.71 inches of precipitation on Sunday.

Approximately 77,000 Kansas City Power & Light customers lost power during the storm. On Monday, 83 percent of the power outages had been remedied. Outages were still scattered throughout KCP&L’s service area and about 9,000 were still without power in the Kansas City metro.
