Apple Graham Pudding

Here’s a fun recipe that combines every kid’s favorite snacks: pudding, applesauce, and graham crackers. Let the kids help mix the pudding and layer the ingredients, or give each one a task in a teamwork lesson.

1 box pudding mix (vanilla, lemon, or
banana cream work best)
2 cups milk, for the pudding
1 jar applesauce (you won’t use the entire jar)
2 full squares graham crackers

Mix the pudding according to the box directions, while another helper crushes the graham crackers. (To crush, place crackers in a ziplock bag and close. Use a rolling pin, going back and forth until you have medium-size crumbs, or press down with a coffee mug if you don’t have a rolling pin.) To see the layers, use glass or clear plastic cups, you’ll need six. Cover the bottom of each serving with pudding, then a layer of applesauce, alternating until you reach the top of each cup, using pudding for the final layer. ( Put one kid in charge of each ingredient to show how an assembly line works.) Top with the graham cracker crumbs. Enjoy after completion or chill to enjoy later.
