To confront crime affecting the neighborhood, Scarritt Renaissance will host a security meeting at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18.

Those who live within the boundaries of the Scarritt Renaissance Neighborhood Association are invited to attend the meeting, which will be held in the cafeteria at St. Anthony’s Parish, 309 Benton Blvd. Enter through the east door.

Neighborhood residents are being asked to be part of the solution and to provide input regarding problems facing the neighborhood. Ken Richardson is leading the effort in fighting the neighborhood crime and said he and the security committee will make the necessary changes for improving the neighborhood or will enlist the help of someone who can.

The security committee will also be in attendance to discuss area security and solutions.
