PH Coffee, 2200 Lexington, was robbed on Aug. 1, 2020, and police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect.

Around 8:30 Saturday morning, the suspect entered PH Coffee, walked up to the barista and quietly demanded cash from the register while brandishing a handgun, Pendleton Heights Neighborhood Association President Chris Binkley said in a Facebook post.

The suspect took money from the business and left the scene in a vehicle, which was described as a silver, gray or white four-door sedan. He was heading southbound on Brooklyn Avenue toward the community garden.

No one was physically harmed and no shots were fired.

The suspect is a 20 to 30-year-old black male with dreadlocks pulled into a ponytail. He was wearing a dark colored tee-shirt that says “ROCK” with light jeans and black tennis shoes.

If anyone has information about the robbery or recognizes the suspect, police request they call the Robbery Unit at (816) 234-5230 or the anonymous TIPS Hotline at 474-TIPS.
