Kansas City Police are searching for two suspects in connection with the shooting at the Northeast Market earlier this month and have released video surveillance footage on the department’s Busted page.

The incident occurred Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020.

Police were called to Northeast Market at 4422 St. John Avenue at around 5:13 p.m. and found two individuals suffering apparent gunshot wounds.

One victim was inside the store with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and a victim on the sidewalk outside the business’ front door had been shot in the leg.

According to the Kansas City Police’s Busted page, both are described as black male teens. The one in the gray hoodie wore a skull face mask and red and white shoes. The other wore a black North Face hoodie, dark-colored face mask and a pink backpack.

Police are asking anyone who has information on the suspects to call the anonymous TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS or fill out the TIPS form on the Busted page.
