Pho Hoa Noodle Soup celebrated the Vietnamese New Year in style Jan. 31, featuring festive music and a dragon dance performance.

Members of the performance troupe Hoi Tu Thien KC donned multicolored and sequined dragon costumes and danced through the crowd of patrons. Live drummers provided the beat as the dragons bobbed up and down.

In case you missed the first performance, another dragon dance will begin tonight at 7 p.m. at Pho Hoa, 1447 E. Independence Ave., Kansas City, Mo. This evening’s performance will also include musical performances by Vi Tran, an actor who’s starred in several productions on Broadway.
