The Kansas City Missouri Health Department has just released its list of the cleanest eating establishments in Kansas City and it spans the spectrum from stadium food to cozy coffee shops. The list, which totals 274 eating establishments, represents roughly 9% of the almost 3,900 permitted food establishments in Kansas City.

Some local food joints that were recognized were the Price Chopper deli at 5800 Wilson Road, Hamburguesa Loco at 3009 Independence, the cafeteria at Kansas City University, 1750 Independence Blvd., Guerrero Market at 4440 St. John Ave. and all locations of the Frontier Schools cafeterias catered by American Food and Vending Services.
