LTE: The cover of last week’s Super Bowl issue

Thank you for tailoring our local newspaper to the top story of the week.

It was a surprise because I found this edition selfless in its excitement for something offbeat, something completely different than itself.

It was like at the rally when the stars celebrated the fans who delighted to see them excited the way the fans are when the football team takes the field.

Role reversal at the pinnacle of the game.

You did good. Using a technique rare and rewarding adds vigor to our neighborhood “lamplighter.”

Happy to bring to your attention the gratitude of one of your occasional readers.

I hope the local denizens appreciate your contribution to the uniqueness and richness of our part of town (HNE), all of KC, and the entire Chiefs Kingdom.

Thanks Michael and Go Chieeeefs!
