KANSAS CITY, Missouri — In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Kansas City, Mo., city offices and 311 will be closed Monday, Jan. 18.

In a press release from city officials, curbside trash and recycling collection will also be delayed one day and City of Kansas City, Mo., offices, including the 3-1-1 Action Center, will be closed.

Residents who usually have Monday collection will receive this service Tuesday, Jan. 19. Residents who usually have Friday collection will receive this service Saturday, Jan 23. Also, closed on Monday: Kansas City Public Schools, all Kansas City Library locations, Jackson County offices including the courthouses in Kansas City and Independence and area banks.
