KANSAS CITY, Missouri — Kansas City Public Schools classes start Monday, Aug. 10.

In order to help ensure that every child is ready for the new school year, KCPS is hosting a pair of free student immunization clinics on Thursday, Aug. 6. The first clinic takes place from 4 – 6 p.m. at Whittier Elementary School, 1012 Bales Ave. The second clinic will take place from 5 – 7:30 p.m., at Northeast Middle School, 4904 Independence Ave.

These immunization clinics, run by the Jackson County Health Department in cooperation with KCPS, are free to any school-age child. Current immunization records are required of all students in order to enroll or register in KCPS.
