KCPD searching for person of interest in recent homicide who frequents Northeast area

Kansas City Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating a person of interest in recent homicide.

The homicide occurred at 2308 E. 28th St on June 23, 2019. The victim was Shawndell Reed.

The person of interest is 31-year-old Ronald E. Phillips. He has various warrants and is known to frequent the area of 9th and Olive.

Any tips that lead to an arrest or filing of charges have a reward of up to $25,000.
