A Kansas City Police Department officer has been charged with two counts of acceding to corruption by a public servant.

Jeffrey Holmes, 47, turned himself in to police headquarters June 2 and has been suspended from KCPD as a result of the charges.

According to court documents, Holmes accepted sexual intercourse in March and April of 2012 from two females in exchange for not arresting them.

Holmes has been booked into the detention unit and prosecutors are requesting a $25,000 bond.
