Last Saturday at KCFD Station 23, there was a celebration for the retirement of Battalion Chief Hugh Oldham, pictured at left with his Step father Sam DiMaggio, also a retired KC Firefighter. Oldham spent 32 years on the department and in his words, it went by in the blink of an eye.
When asked, “I’d do it all over again in a minute.”
