Due to recent historic snowfalls, the Kansas City Museum has delayed the opening of its first artifact-based exhibit in five years, “Ours to Fight For: Kansas City During World War II,” to this Friday, March 8. It was previously scheduled to open Saturday, March 2. Guests who attend the Museum’s Hard Hat Happy Hour Thursday, March 7, will enjoy a special preview of the exhibit.

Inclement weather and the delayed opening of the exhibit also obliged the museum to reschedule last Sunday’s “First Sunday Family Fun Day” to Sunday, April 7. The activity and games-based program is centered on the exhibit. Details about the rescheduled events can be found on the museum’s website, kansascitymuseum.org.
